Aulus is a Fighter (usually played as a Jungler) who specializes in continuous damage through basic attacks. Unlike other fighters who rely on single bursts, Aulus "ramps up" during a fight. His power is directly tied to his level and his Fighting Spirit stacks. The Power Spike: He becomes a "God" at Level 12. This is because his passive and ultimate scale with his level, increasing his attack range and damage significantly as the game progresses. Playstyle: He is a "hit-and-run" or "dive-and-survive" hero. He uses his speed to pick his fights and his ultimate to soak up damage while swinging his massive axe.

Crowd Control (CC) Immunity: His Skill 1 (Aulus, Charge!) now grants him immunity to stuns and knockups if he charges for 2 seconds without being hit. This makes him nearly impossible to stop once he starts running. Extreme Late-Game Scaling: Once Aulus reaches full build and max level, he has some of the highest basic attack damage and range in the game, allowing him to melt both tanks and backline mages. High Durability during Ult: His new Ultimate (Cleaving Axe) provides 20% to 40% damage reduction while he is swinging. This allows him to dive into 1v3 situations and survive the initial burst. Enhanced Mobility: With the revamp, his Skill 2 now includes a dash. This fixed his old weakness of being easily "kited" (shot from a distance while unable to reach the enemy).

Vulnerable to "Hard" CC: While he is immune to standard stuns in his enraged state, he is still vulnerable to Suppression (Franco or Kaja's Ultimate) and Displacement (Jawhead's throw). He can be bullied or "invaded" in his own jungle by early-game heroes like Hilda or Martis. Item Counters: He is heavily countered by Dominance Ice (which reduces his attack speed and healing) and Blade Armor (which reflects his basic attack damage back at him). Requires Precise Stacking: To be effective, you must keep his passive stacks at 6. If you enter a fight with 0 stacks, you will likely lose the duel before you can ramp up your attack speed.
